Olivier van den Berg is a very respected and well known NRHA and AQHA Professional horsetrainer, in Europe and in the USA.  He started his success as a youth rider in Holland where Olivier began  rinding western when he was 10 years old. He achieved twice the 'All Around Dutch Champion' title around 1980. At the age of 17 he started to work overseas, for the NRHA Hall of Famer Bob Anthony in Florida. At age 18 he enrolled in collegue in Gainsville, TX, where he graduated in Equine Science with a 4.0 which allowed him to finish at the top of his class. He graduated in horse training, horse breeding, shoeing and general management of a horse training facility. After collage he started to work for Brain Bell for several years and after that for Dutch Chapman. Dutch Chapman is one of the most recognized and famous Non Pro Trainer in the world. Chapman has ridden to and coached his clients and assistant trainers to more than 60 NRHA Top Ten Finishes, 45 World and Reserve World championships, which have been spread among every division that NRHA offers. In 2001 under the guidance of Dutch Chapman Olivier achieved the Reserve limited Open Worldtitle.Olivier is very recognized in starting young horses and training and showing older horses and also difficult horses.  In 2002 Olivier moved back to Europe and started to work on his own horsetraining facility in France. In 2004 Shawn Flarida, NRHA first 3 Million Dollar rider and multiple Futurity Champion, trusted Olivier to get the horse"As Smart As Chaley" ready for  some major open Reining Shows in Europe including the World Reining Trophy which Shawn Flarida won with "As Smart As Charley". The result of this great teamwork was that the horse "As Smart As Charley" ended up Reserve World Champin in the Open Devicion in 2004. Olivier shines with his attitude and his passion for horses and his job. Now Olivier is living and working at  van den berg quarter horses  in Holland. Olivier keeps his horses in great condition and looking immaculate. His expertise reaches  from starting young horses up to making them finished Showhorses. Olivier also offer a wide variety of teaching/coaching Non Pros. Olivier's tremendous show experience helps him to keep older show horses happy and sound in the showpen and at home.
