March 2010 First DRHA Show in Holland, OirschotThe team Van den Berg went to this years first NRHA show in Holland with lots of success. Congratulations to our Non Pro Willem Loomans riding his horse Whiz Me Luck for a sensational 2nd place in the Non Pro (score 72,5) and his win in the Intermediate Open (score 72). Also congratulations to Judith Vetter winning the Rookie Professional on CQH Larkin Hickory with a score of 71(owner Aurelien Faure). It was a fun weekend and we are looking forward to the next one. |

August 29th-30th 3 Nations MooslargueJudith went together with her Non Pro Lea Reymondier to the last 3 Nations this year is Mooslargue. Lea showed in the Rookie Level 2 to continue earnings points for ensuring the win of the Highpiont Champion titel in this category. And Lea was successfull after scoring a 68,5 on the horse CQH Big Red Remedy and ending up 4th in this devision it was certain that she will win the Highpointbuckle in the Rookie Level 2 for 2009. August 21st-23th Oakland Pre FuturityThe whole team Van den Berg went to the very nice Pre Futurity here in France at Oakland Reining Horses. All our non pros did an exellent job. Lea Reymondier endet up 4th in the Rookie Level 2 with the horse Big Red Remedy and she won her first NRHA USA money! Congratulations. Philippe Castel was 2nd in the Rookie Level 2 with his horse Star Pine Whiz. Catherine Monnin endet up 5th in the Non Pro Futurity with her 3 year old horse Chicky Harry Pourpre. Congratulations! Olivier showed Bunny Wimpy BH King (onwer Valerie and Jean Charles Fontaine) and scored a 143 and endet up 4th. It was a very well organized and fun show. And we are looking forward for the next one in 2010! |

July 24th-26th 3 Nations in MooslargueOur two Rookie Riders, Lea Reymondier and Phlippe Boulic decided to go and show at the 3 Nations in Mooslaurgue., the first time by themselfs! Even though we got a lot of phonecalls in Engand :) they were able to have a very successful show ! Lea Reymondier was 5th in the Rookie 2 out of almost 20 riders! Congratulations! |

July 22nd-26th Garden of England International ShowOlivier and Judith Van den Berg went with 4 horses to the Garden of England show. Olivier was 2nd in the Intermediate Open on the horse Glowhiz in Hollywood, he placed 3rd in the Novice Horse Open on the horse Starpine Whiz (owner Philippe Caslel) and he was 3rd in the AQHA All Ages on the horse A Chololate Chic (owner Catherine Monnin). What a nice show and we wanted to say thank you to the great showoffice and the great organisation! See you next year again! |

July 10th-12th King Valley ShowWhile Olivier went to Sweden, Judith went with some of her Non Pros to a local show here in France and they had a very successful show! Congratulations to Philippe Castel and his horse Starpine Whiz winning the Limited and Intermediate Non Pro and placing second in the Rookie Level 2. Philippe Castel won his first NRHA paycheck! Congratulations also to Lea Reymondier placing 4th in the Rookie 2 on the horse CQH Big Red Remedy and making Remedy as of right now Highpointleader in the Rookie Level 2. Congratulations to Philippe Boulic and his horse CQH Big Red Remedy placing 5th in the Non Pro. Also Cahterine Monnin placed 4th in the ltd Non Pro on her horse Jazz, congratulations! Judith Vetter won the Rookie Professional on CQH Big Red Remedy making the horse an NRHA money earner. Van den Berg QH also would like to congratulate Celine Procop and her horse Hickory Whiskey for winning the Rookie Level 2 with a score of 70,5! This horse was found and sold to Celine Procop in 2008 through VDB QH and we wish them a lot of success in the future. It was a fun and succesful show for the team Van den Berg and we are looking forward to next years show at King Valley. |

July 9th - 12th European Championships in SwedenGlowhiz in Hollywood was qualified in the 3 Open devisions for the European Championships so Olivier decided to show her at this event. He drove together with Cira Baeck and Fenna Elzinger all the way to Sweden a stunning 14 hours from Belgium. But the trip was a lot of fun thanks to the various stories of the two girls! Olivier showed Glowhiz in Hollywood in the Intermediate Open and endet up 5th in the Intermediate also being the highest scoring mare in this class, again. Congratulations to Fenna winning the Intermediate Non Pro and Cira Baeck winning the Non Pro Championships! |

July 3rd -5th CS Classic in SwitzerlandOlivier went as the only French participant to the prestigous CS Classic show in Switzerland were he endet up 5th in the Intermediate Open and being the highestscoring mare in this class. It was a very nice show with a lot of flair and we are looking forward for this event next year. |

Olivier van den Berg won the Intermediate Open on Glowhiz in Hollywood and was second in the Open also on Glowhiz in Hollywood. Judith Vetter won the Ladies on A Chocolate Chic (owned by Catherine Monnin). The price for the Ladies was a very nice Buckle. Lea Reymondier and Philippe Boulic places in the top 5 everytime they showed on the horse CQH Big Red Remedy and won a lot of points for the Highpointstandings of the NRHA France. |

May 5th 2009 French Derby 2009The team Van den Berg Quarter Horses went last Wednesday to the first French Derby in Mooslargue, and it was quite a show! Olivier placed 2nd in the ltd Open Derby on Glowhiz in Hollywood (owner Olivier van den Berg) and 3rd on CQH Larkin Hickory(owner Aurlelien Faure) and he placed 4th in the Open Derby on Glowhiz and 5th on CQH Larkin Hickory. On Sunday Olivier won the Morrison Bronze Trophy on CQH Larkin Hickory. This was the first Bronze Trophy for the mare and her owner Aurelien Faure!! Congratulations! Jerry Coleman was reserve Champion on Glowhiz in Hollywood in the Open class. Thank you at this point to Jerry Coleman to come all the way from the US to help Olivier on the show.! We had a lot of fun and also our Non Pro enjoyed the first big show this year. Congratulation to Cedric Defour he placed 10th on his new horse GB Doccy Whiz. |

April 29th 2009 Rock N'RollOlivier went to Holland to prepare his horses for the French Derby. He showed Glowhiz in Hollywood in the Open and ended up 4th on her with a score of 147. He also was 3rd in the Intermediate Open on the horse CQH Larkin Hickory owned by Aurelieu Faure. But Oivier wasnt the only one who was succesful, Judith went with one of her Non Pros to the Rookie Day at Montana Ranch around Paris where Lea Reymondier won the ltd Non Pro on her horse Banana Great Pine. It was her first show and whats left to say exept CONGRATULATIONS! |

European Futurity 2009Olivier went to Kreuth, Germany in march to attend the FIRST ever held European Futuriy show. He placed 3rd in the Intermediate Open in a very strong field of competitors. It was a very special and fun event and we are looking forward to the next EU Futurity in 2010. |

April 2009 Review of the showseason 2008Van den Berg Quarter Horses finished their showseason very strong this year. Judith Vetter won the prestigious Open Highpoint buckle with the horse Glowiz in Hollywood. She also ended up 3rd in the Rookie Professional Championship class on As Smart As A Buck and Olivier was French Reserve Open Champion on Glowhiz in Hollywood with a score of 146,5. All together Judith qualified 4 horses in different categories for the French Championships. During the year 2008 Judith won and placed on every French show she went to. With this result she ended up being the number 1 femal moneywinning French trainer in 2008. Also our Non Pros had a very good showseason 2008. Philippe Boulic won his first paycheck and also qualified his horse Bid Red Remedy for the Rookie and ltd Non Pro Championships in France. Celine Procop also qualified herself and her horse Hickory Whiskey with just one show for the Rookie French Championships. She also won her first NRHA USA paycheck. But not just showing wise lots had happend at Van den Berg Quarter Horses in 2008, we also had a shoeing clinic with the well known blacksmith from Germany Jan Kahle. This clinic was a lot of fun for all the attending blacksmith and spectators. And we finished the last hours of 2008 with all of our customers in a great New Year pary with lots of good food and lots of laughs. |

Olivier van den Berg won the Open on Shining Fox (owner Hubert Heule) with a score of 73,5. He was second on Glowhiz in Hollywood in the Novice Horse Open class with a 72 score. Judith Vetter was second in the Rookie Professional on Shining Fox and 4th on MS Royal King BH (owner Valerie Fontaine). Celine Procop was 3rd in the Rookie on her new horse Hickory Whiskey. |

20th February 2008French Futurity 19.10-21.10.2007What a spectacular show it was the French Futurity 2007. Beating all odds, the Futurity had an increase of attending horses of 40 %. Van den Berg Quarter Horses was sponsoring the 3 year old Snafflebit Futurity. But we weren’t just sponsoring we also participated with several horses. Olivier was tied 4th in the Open on the horse “Shining Fox” with a score of 73. Judith ended up 2nd in the Rookie Professional on “Shining Fox”. And 4th in the ltd Open on “As Smart As A Buck”. Also our Non Pros did very good and achieved good results. Overall it was a very successful and fun show. Thanks to all our clients and friends that were a part of the French Futurity this year. June 8th - 10th 2007Horseacademy Trophy in Mooslaurge, FranceWe had a successful show with our three year old Futurity prospects. Even though it was the first time out for our three Futurityhorses.Olivier van den Berg was able to achieve the third place with Smart As A Buck in the Snaffle Bit Open class. Judith Vetter was fourth on Glowhiz in Hollywood and Olivier was sixth on Peppys Playmate due to some penalties in the same class. Smart As A Buck and Glowhiz in Hollywood are now NRHA USA moneyearners. |

August 8th 2006Van den Berg stables successful at the King Valley showAfter a great weekend in the sun at the King Valley show in Vitry aux Lodges during the 14th - 16th of July, the Van den Berg stables where able to achieve several placements. 3 second places in the Beginnersclasses from Phillipe Boulic who showed his horse Remedy. Then Olivier van den Berg was second in the Snaffle Bit Open, a $1500 added class on the three year old Arc King Cole. He also was second in the Open on Colonels Nic Nack. Judith was fourth in the Intermediate Open. |
